What we know about you, and what we do with it.

You can use almost all of this site without telling us anything. We collect personal data only when you type it into a form, and we use it only for the thing you typed it in for. No advertising trackers, no analytics cookies, no selling data, no marketing emails you didn't ask for.

Town alerts. Your email address and the town you chose, used solely to tell you when something is listed in that town. Legal basis: consent. Unsubscribe works in one click and we will not email you about anything else.

Forms (property submissions, trade signups, enquiries to tradespeople). The details you enter — name, email, and for trades a VAT number used only for verification. Legal basis: taking steps you asked for. Enquiries are forwarded to the business you chose to contact.

Purchases. Payments are processed by Stripe; your card details go to Stripe, not to us. We keep the order record — what you bought, your email, the amount — to deliver the service and meet accounting law. Legal bases: contract and legal obligation.

Technical logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability. Legal basis: legitimate interest. We run no analytics or advertising scripts.

To the service providers who run the platform — hosting (Vercel), payments (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), database (Supabase) — each processing data only on our instructions. To a tradesperson, only when you send them an enquiry. Never to advertisers, brokers or list-buyers, and we never sell it. Some providers process data outside the UK/EEA under standard contractual safeguards.

Alert subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. Form submissions: as long as needed to deal with them, then deleted. Order records: six years, because tax law requires it. Logs: on our providers' short standard rotations.

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict processing, take your data elsewhere, and withdraw consent at any time. Email sveventuresltd@gmail.com and we will act on it — and you can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority if we get it wrong.

We set no advertising or analytics cookies. The only storage used is what is strictly necessary for the site to function — which is why you have not seen a cookie banner.
